The Kuvings B8200 is the latest generation of the ever popular original B series whole slow juicer with a few new bells and whistles for 2018. It deploys the same child-safe flip gate lid found in their top of the range model preventing small hands from getting into the extra large 82mm diameter feed chute. The ingenious'flip gate' is a hinged hopper attached to the top of the feed chute that you can place whole fruit or large ingredients onto and then flip it so that the ingredients fall into the juicer. This obviates the need for the food pusher in most situations whereas with old style feed chutes you would often have to push ingredients like whole apples down past a fin in the bottom of the chute. As well as the new extra-large chute the lid attachment points have been increased from 3 to 4 for a more stable connection. Kuvings B Series juicers give a slightly more textured juice than C series models and a little more fibre into the drink which some people find preferable, especially when juicing fruits.
